More from the Lopez Wedding!

I’m slowly getting through all the wedding photos!  Here are a couple more I edited tonight!

I love to hear Shelby laugh!  Anyone that knows her knows what I mean when I say that she has an ‘infectious laugh’!  That’s why I love this photo–she was such a joyful bride!

Mama and her (serious!) little man:

This is Shelby’s matron-of-honor and best friend, Sara:

Mason and the girls!

And here’s Daddy and Mason:

And one more of the beautiful bride!  One thing I love about this photo–if you look closely at the railing you can see some big raindrops!

So that’s all for tonight folks!  It’s midnight and I have a busy day tomorrow!  Hopefully I’ll get a few more photos up this weekend!

The Lopez Wedding

I had the pleasure of taking photos at my friends’ wedding yesterday.  Ricky and Shelby are an amazing couple that my hubby and I have gotten to know over the last few years.  They have been through every hardship imaginable (and some unimaginable!) and stayed together through it all.  Then last week, I kid you not, their house burned down.  One week before their wedding and their house burns down!  By the grace of God everyone was okay.  The entire kitchen and dining room and everything in it was completely destroyed by the fire–except their wedding license!  That peice of paper and their wedding bands (which were kept in a hutch in the dining room) survived the fire!  It still gives me chills thinking about it.

Their wedding was Saturday and took place in a beautiful home up on a hill overlooking the beautiful fall foliage!  And if blessings can be measured in raindrops, then they are going to be blessed beyond measure!  (Wedding day rain is good luck, right?)  It poured buckets right after the ceremony!

Shelby and Ricky–I believe that God has AMAZING plans for your future.  God bless you two in your new life together and thank you for letting Aaron and I share in your special day!

OK, so on to some photos because I know that’s really why you all stopped by my blog!  This is my absolute favorite photo EVER!  Mason was totally over the whole picture thing by this point but somehow I managed to get him still for about 0.2 seconds to take this photo.  I love it!  Shelby–I can see this printed on canvas REALLY BIG!

I promise I did not encourage this–he found that puddle all by his two year old self!

Absolutely adorable!

And here is Mr. and Mrs. Lopez!  (Lucky you Shelby–no more having to spell your last name for people!  LOL!)

More to come later as I get them edited.  Our family just got back from vacation and I feel like I need another vacation to recover from this vacation!

Couple New Photos

Here are a few quick photos I took this week.  I have a wedding I am doing tomorrow and a couple of other sessions coming up in November.  I haven’t been pursuing much business lately because our move that’s planned for next year but I’m happy to have some sessions to do to keep my skills up!

Here is my friend Jennifer’s baby, Lilley:

And here are my parents with all their grandkids!
