I had the pleasure of taking photos at my friends’ wedding yesterday. Ricky and Shelby are an amazing couple that my hubby and I have gotten to know over the last few years. They have been through every hardship imaginable (and some unimaginable!) and stayed together through it all. Then last week, I kid you not, their house burned down. One week before their wedding and their house burns down! By the grace of God everyone was okay. The entire kitchen and dining room and everything in it was completely destroyed by the fire–except their wedding license! That peice of paper and their wedding bands (which were kept in a hutch in the dining room) survived the fire! It still gives me chills thinking about it.
Their wedding was Saturday and took place in a beautiful home up on a hill overlooking the beautiful fall foliage! And if blessings can be measured in raindrops, then they are going to be blessed beyond measure! (Wedding day rain is good luck, right?) It poured buckets right after the ceremony!
Shelby and Ricky–I believe that God has AMAZING plans for your future. God bless you two in your new life together and thank you for letting Aaron and I share in your special day!
OK, so on to some photos because I know that’s really why you all stopped by my blog! This is my absolute favorite photo EVER! Mason was totally over the whole picture thing by this point but somehow I managed to get him still for about 0.2 seconds to take this photo. I love it! Shelby–I can see this printed on canvas REALLY BIG!

I promise I did not encourage this–he found that puddle all by his two year old self!

Absolutely adorable!

And here is Mr. and Mrs. Lopez! (Lucky you Shelby–no more having to spell your last name for people! LOL!)

More to come later as I get them edited. Our family just got back from vacation and I feel like I need another vacation to recover from this vacation!
